The Riverport Business association has worked for several decades to collect funds to provide and maintain lighting at non-signaled intersections along the Greenbelt Highway to help improve safety for travelers along that road.
Additionally, the funds we receive, help provide a place for Louisville Metro Police and EMS to operate as a Substation. This helps reduce travel times to emergencies in the area and results in better protection for lives and property in the Riverport area.
